Bio
Lola Mildred (Lincoln) Laudenklos was born to her loving parents Allan Hubert and Ila Mathilda (Martin) Lincoln on Friday November 1, 1918 at Bayard, Morrill County Nebraska. Lola was raised on her parents' homestead located just northeast of Bayard, she next lived in Denver, Denver County Colorado. My research found no information on Lola's schooling. Lola was united in marriage to Bernard Laudenklos on Saturday March 22, 1941 at Harrisburg, Banner County Nebraska. The couple moved to North Bend, Dodge County in 1946 and were blessed over the years of marriage with a daughter and a son. Lola was a member of First United Methodist Church, the United Methodist Women, a charter member of the North Bend VFW Auxiliary, she did volunteer work for the local Senior Nutrition Site and the Red Cross Bloodmobile. Lola lived at North Bend until 1989 when at that time she moved to Omaha, Douglas County to be closer to her daughter. Lola then moved to the Elkhorn Manor, Douglas County in 1991, sadly she passed on Friday August 30, 1996 at the age of 77 years, 9 months, 29 days which does not include her last day, she lived a total of 28,427 days. Lola's visitation was at Moser Memorial Chapel of North Bend and at the church preceding her funeral service. Lola's funeral was held at the First United Methodist Church of North Bend with the Rev. Hiram Lilley officiating. Lola was interred in section n, block 619, plot 4 in Woodland Cemetery. Lola's information was provided from researching many resources and my memory.
