Casper Star-Tribune Friday, March 3, 1995 Page B2 Frankie M. Conner Casper - Services for Frankie M. Conner, 76, will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday at the Bustard Funeral Home by Pastor Tim Tyler of Douglas Baptist Church. Mrs. Conner died Feb. 28, 1995, at her home in Casper. She was born Feb. 13, 1919, in Snead, Okla., to James Madison Davis and Essie Inez (Millum) Clowdus. She grew up in the Wilson and Ardmore areas of Oklahoma. On Jan. 27, 1940, she married K. W. Conner in Henderson, Ky. The couple moved to Olney, Ill., where her husband worked for Loffland Brothers. Mr. and Mrs. Conner moved to Powell in 1944. They then lived in Vernal, Utah, for a time before moving to Casper in 1955. Mrs. Conner enjoyed being a housewife and spending time with her family and friends. She also enjoyed baking. Survivors include three sons of Casper, Douglas and Houston; two daughters of Casper and Douglas. Also surviving are two brothers, Ralph Clowdus of Eugene, Ore., and Kenneth R. Clowdus of Idaho Falls, Idaho; a sister, Mildred Crawford of Lindsay, Okla.; 14 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband K.W. Conner who died in 1986; a brother; and one great-granddaughter. Interment will be at Highland Cemetery under the direction of Bustard funeral directors. Either flowers or memorials to the Blue Envelope Health Fund would be appreciated by the family. Contributions may be left at the Bustard Funeral Home.
