Services for Mrs Ben Throop were held in the Wesley Methodist Church in Cisco. She moved to Cisco in 1898 from Texarkana. Survived by her husband; one son - Gene B Throop; four daughters - Mrs. A B Carpenter, Mrs P J Van Austrum, Mrs Dub Nolen, Mrs W W Scott; two brothers - Eugene Strain, Albert Strain; one sister - Mrs Annie Ruth.
