Bio

Hausner, Arnold E. "Arnie" Age 93 Died June 25, 2015 in Bellevue, NE. Born August 15, 1921 at Brainard, NE. Preceded in death by wife of 55 years, Helen and son John. Arnie and Helen raised 4 children, John, Robert, Sharon and Marilyn. Arnie was one of eleven children born to Emil and Marie Hausner. Loretta, Richard and Eugene are no longer living. Remaining siblings include Betty, Les, Don, Emil, Mary Rita, Sally and Larry. Other survivors include daughters and sons-in-law, Marilyn Cady (Ron), and Sharon Lowell (Jim) and son Robert (Toni); numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Lastly his faithful canine companions Maggie and Jake survive him. Arnie was retired from General Steel Products as an Estimator. He was a WWII veteran, US Air Force Lieutenant, bombardier. He was an active member of St. Teresa's Catholic Church, Men's Club and Usher's Club. He was a volunteer at St. Elizabeth Medical Center for over 20 years. He was also a member of American Legion Post #3. Msgr. Joseph Nemec will celebrate the MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL at St. Teresa's Catholic Church, 36th and Laura Ave, Lincoln, NE on Tuesday, June 29, 2015 at 10:30am. A Rosary will be said at Butherus, Maser & Love Funeral Home, 4040 A St., Lincoln, on Monday, June 28 at 5:30pm. VISITATION is on Monday, June 28th from 12noon-5:30pm at the Funeral Home. The family will be present to greet friends at the funeral home from 3:30-5:30pm Monday Military graveside services will be at the cemetery. Interment at Lincoln Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials to St. Teresa's Catholic Church or St. Mathews Church, 12210 S. 36th St., Bellevue, NE 68123. The family requests no flowers, please. Condolences may be left at www.bmlfh.com.
