Age 89. Omaha, formerly of Ulysses. Fred was born February 8, 1926, near Bee, NE. and passed away June 24, 2015 at their home in Omaha. He served proudly in W.W.II and enjoyed 60 years of farming. Survived by wife, Georgia (Hurt) Hromas; daughters, Noreen (Marty) Meysenburg and Karen Kozisek; six grandchildren: Kristy (John) Proos, Jason (Joanna) Meysenburg, Justin (Shiboan) Kozisek, Jay (Stacy) Kozisek, Joel (Kelly) Kozisek, Jonathan Kozisek; 11 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by four still born babies; parents, Fred A and Christina (Nemec) Hromas;siblings: Alice (John) Morford, Christina (Ralph) Walker, Clifford (Joyce) Hromas and Don Hromas; father and mother-in-law, Louis C and Agnes (Houdek) Hurt; son-in-law Thomas J Kozisek, and brother-in-law, Louis N. Hurt (Junior). VISITATION 4-6 pm, Sunday, June 28 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Ulysses; followed by Rosary at 6pm. MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL: 10am Monday, June 29 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Ulysses; Con-celebrants: Father Michael Stec, Father Jim Meysenburg, Father Raymond Jansen Graveside Service and Interment: Immaculate Conception Catholic Cemetery, Ulysses; Full Military Honors.
