Bio

Cliff served 24 years in the US Air Force. His tenure in the Air Force included coaching and playing for the Air Force All Stars Football and Softball Teams. He had prosperous careers with Snap-On and Matco Tools as a Distributor and District Manager. Cliff had a big heart and was generous to all he met. His loss leaves a huge hole in the hearts of his family and many lifelong friends. He was known as a big joker who loved to send colorful greetings via voicemail, e-mails and post mails. He took delight in the homemade whimiscal gifts he often gave. He was preceded in death by his parents, Cleo Belle Johnson and Milburn Kornelius Diviney; brothers, Joe, John, Dean; sister Earline; infant son, Douglas Lee Diviney. He is survived by his beautiful wife of 53 years, Norma Faye; sons, Dennis Ray (Shelia), Colby, Clifford Dale (Apryl). their daughters, Sarah, Abigal and Hannah; son Donald Wayne and his children Danielle, Donovan, Dominique and Dawson; and daughter, Debroah Jean and her chldren, Creighton and Megan. He also leaves behind great grandchildren, Chloe, Madison, Bradley Clifford and Ava. He is survived by brothers, Jerry Don (Sharon and Robert; sisters, Lois and Mary (Jerry Eaton) in addition to a host of other family and friends. His body was donated tot he American Cancer Society, Anatomy Gift Registry- his final gift. There will be a Celebration of Life and sharing of "Cliff Tales" at the Palace Theater in Grapevine. Cliff may be free from his suffering and gone from this earth, but he will always be remembered and loved in our hearts. (Obit: Dallas Morning News 4/17/2010)
