Bio
Lorraine (Lolly) Remmert passed away at home Saturday June 20, 2015 at the age 73. Visitation will be 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. with a Rosary at 7:00 P.M. Tuesday, June 23, 2015 at Providence Funeral Home. Celebration of Life Mass will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, June 24, 2015 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery. Lolly was born June 1, 1942 to Emil and Vera Kubala. She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter Kathy Newsom; sister Betty Jo Grieger; 3 infant brothers. Lolly is survived by her husband Gaylon Remmert; a daughter Cindy Remmert; two grandchildren Shane and Dylan Remmert; and several nieces and nephews. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and attended St. Marys School. She worked for a period of time at Bluebonnet nursing Home which is now Granger Villa. Pallbearers will be Shane Newsom, Steve Grieger, Chuck Bach, Kyle Newsom, Dylan Newsom, and Kevin Remmert. Honorary Pallbearers will be Sidney Kubala, Alvin Kubala, and Sammy Kubala.
