Bio
Yvonne Shallenberger, 78, was the daughter of Bilbo and Pauline (Steel) Prine. She married Ralph E. "Shorty" Shallenberger February 25, 1956 in Poplarville, Mississippi. Yvonne was born Aug. 12, 1936 in Perry County, Mississippi, the daughter of Bilbo and Pauline Steel Prine. She married Ralph E. “Shorty” Shallenberger on Feb. 25, 1956 in Poplarville, Mississippi. Shorty passed away July 1, 2000. Yvonne was also preceded in death by her parents, three sisters and three brothers. She is survived by three children, Charolette (Kent) Holland, Ralph E. Shallenberger Jr. and Vickie (Curt) Harbach; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; sisters, Diane Shows, Sylvia Weatherford and Billie Clark and brothers, Carlton Prine and Wayne Prine. Yvonne worked at Crestview Nursing Home for 27 years and volunteered at Washington Grade School for five years. Published in the Bloomington, Il. Pantagraph June 23, 2015
