TEC 4 US ARMY WORLD WAR II Melvin Robert Menzdorf was born on August 10, 1920, in Hamilton TX, to William and Ella Menzdorf. On May 17, 1980, he married Dorothy Eddleman in Waco. He was in the Army and served during World War II. He then worked for Central Freight lines as a truck driver for more than 40 years. He was preceded in death by his parents; a stepson, Gary Eddleman; and a granddaughter, Anita Smith; and his first wife, Florene Menzdorf. Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Menzdorf; sons, Kenneth Menzdorf and wife Connie of Waco and Sandy Menzdorf and wife Dot of Kemp, Texas; a daughter, Elaine Menzdorf of Seattle WA; stepsons, Freddy Eddleman and wife Dot of Robinson, Roy Eddleman and wife Kay of China Spring and David Eddleman of Ft Worth; a step-daughter, Helen Eddleman and husband Lawrence of San Antonio; a brother, Mortz Menzdorf of Dallas; a sister,Irene Ivy of Hamilton Texas; 14 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be A. W. Hines, Jeffrey Seay, Travis Blackwell, Butch Lawrence, Michael Eddleman and David Gillespie. Waco Tribune Herald obituary
