Bio

MARSHALL -- Services for Mae Stengel, 100, of Marshall will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Christ United Presbyterian Church in Marshall. Burial will be in the Marshall Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. today at Hamilton Funeral Home in Marshall. Visitation will continue Thursday at the church one hour prior to services. She died Monday, Sept. 8, 2003, at Weiner Memorial Medical Center. She was born April 14, 1903, in Walnut Grove to Frank and Ina (Sanderson) Okrina. Survivors include a daughter, Faye Sterler of Marshall; a son, Dennis of Chamburg, Ill.; six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. --Marshall Independent September 10, 2003
