Gravesite details
Per Cemetery Manager (May 2016): Clifford's unmarked grave is located in the extreme northeast corner of the cemetery, near the property line; Garden of the Last Supper, Plot 220, D. Space 4. Sep 2017: There is a stone memorial base, but no plaque.
Bio
In 1966/1967, Cliff changed his name from Kopejtka to DeLong. Clifford was using the name of Clifford Bernard DeLong; this was to distance himself from his real name due to his 1951 conviction for Grand Larceny and served prison sentence. On a 1969 Railroad Worker Application he even falsely listed his father as Joseph DeLong. The name change is noted on his Social Security Application forms. Graveside Service and Burial: 9 Jul 1993. "CLIFFORD B. DELONG 66, James Robinson Apartments, Nashville, a maintenance worker at the Nashville Union Rescue Mission, died June 29, Southern Hills Hospital. Graveside services 10 a.m. tomorrow, Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Forest Lawn Funeral Home in charge. No immediate family." Newspaper: The Tennessean (Nashville, TN) Thursday, 8 July 1993.
