Obituary from unknown newspaper 22 Jan 1899- Apr. 26 1969 David Hobson Crockett, 70, passed away suddenly Saturday, April 26, at his home in Rose Hill. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Myrtle Crockett, Rose Hill, Three sons, David, Joe & Harold Crockett, all of Rose Hill; three daughters Mrs. Jewell Saylor of Middlesboro, Mrs. Jeanette Daniel and Mrs. Ruby Frye, both of Rose Hill; three brothers Charlie and Bryant Crockett, both of Rose Hill and Roscoe Crockett of Brownstown, Ind. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held this afternoon at 2 p.m. in the Davidson Funeral Home Chapel. Officiating ministers will be the Rev. Billy Davenport, and the Rev. Charlie Wilson. Burial will follow in the Ely Cemetery near Rose Hill. Davidson Funeral Home is in charge.
