Waxahachie Daily Light; Oct 5, 1932 Falling under the wheels of a wagon, which crushed him fatally, Frank L. Vrla, Creechville farmer, 35 years old, died in a hospital at Ennis. Interment was made in St. Joseph’s Cemetery at that city. Mr. Vrla was hauling hay from his farm to his home and in passing under a large pecan tree at Village Creek reached up to pick some pecans and a bale of hay on which he was seated was dislodged and caused him to fall. He was rushed to the hospital, where he died a few hours later. Surviving are his wife and six children, two daughters, Libby and Georgie, and four sons, Raymond, Milton, Emil and Frank Vrla. Also his parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Vrla and five sisters, Mrs. Henry Govarnik of Rice, Mrs. Anton Trojacek of Telico, Mrs. Anton Gajetka of Creechville, Mrs. Martin Kucera of Ennis, and Miss Christine Vrla of Creechville, and two brothers, Joe Vrla of Dallas and Willie Vrla of Ennis. Mr. Vrla was born Jan 22, 1897.
