Houston Martin Date Died: December 19, 2013 Lake Worth ~ Martin Houston, 81, a retired employee for the City of White Settlement, went to be with our Lord Thursday, December 19, 2013 in Lake Worth. Funeral was 11 a.m. Monday, December 23, 2013 at Christian-Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel in Boyd. Burial was private. Rev. Stan Cox officiated. Pallbearers included Joel Wayne, Martin Joe Duque, Joel Duque, Calvin Horton, Rodney Lynn Martin and Jimmy Lee Martin. Martin was born on October 31, 1932 to Willie and Jettie Bee (Green) Martin in Klondike, Texas. He was a member of the Westside Church of Christ. Martin was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, James, Willie Joe, Kerry and Jerry Martin. Those left behind to cherish his memory are his son, Calvin Horton and wife Belinda of Springtown, his sisters, Jewel Salgado of Ft. Worth, Dorothy Garcia of Ft.
