Rev. Clif Phillips and Rev. Ken Coleman will officiate. Burial will be in White Church Cemetery, near Glen Rose. Darrell Garner passed away Sunday, May 14, 2006 in Cleburne. He was born October 5, 1921 to Tony and Pearl Rhodes Garner in Glen Rose, Texas . He married Willie Mae Rice on February 1, 1941. After 52 years of marriage, she preceded him in death on December 27, 1993. He married Leta Lott on May 8, 1995 in Glen Rose. After 11 years of marriage, she preceded him in death on May 8, 2006. He is also preceded in death by 3 daughters, Goldie Blanchette, Gay Sikes and Glenda Garner; one sister, Mildred Ramsey; one grandson, Christopher Darrell Sikes. Mr Garner was a farmer and a member of Lebanon Baptist Church. Mr Garner's early years were spent in Glen Rose, moving his family to Cleburne in 1951. He farmed his entire life and was known by everyone as a hardworker and a dedicated family man. Some of his happiest days were spent plowing his fields on his John Deere and taking care of his cows. He will be missed. Darrell Garner is survived by two daughters, Vicki Helms and husband, Jimmy of Cleburne and Kay Pair and husband Sam of Atoka, OK; son, James Lott and wife Vondell of Levelland, TX; two sisters, Veda Gosdin and Nancy Moore both of Glen Rose; 13 grandchildren and 32 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
