Dorothy Evelyn Wilson of Rogers, AR June 13, 1930 - January 2, 2024 Dorothy Evelyn Wilson, age 93 of Rogers, Arkansas passed from this earthly life on Tuesday, January 2nd, 2024 at Northwest Medical Center in Bentonville, Arkansas. She was born in Superior, Wyoming on June 13th, 1930 to Franklin Marsh and Gladys Helvey Marsh. Dorothy accepted the Lord as her Savior at the age of 16 while attending a revival in Arkansas. She also met and later married her husband, William Floyd Wilson at the same revival. Dorothy remained a faithful Christian her whole life. She was a member of the Harvest Hills Baptist Church. She read her bible daily and led many people to the Lord with her witnessing. She was an amazing prayer warrior for her family and friends. Attending church was the highlight of her week. After the death of her husband in 1976, Dorothy attended nursing school. This was a career that lasted over 20 plus years, until her retirement. She loved to crochet. She crocheted hats for all of her church family one year. All of her family is in possession of hats and baby blankets lovingly crocheted by Dorothy. She enjoyed reading, especially the newspaper and her bible. Dorothy had a servant's heart, and her gentle caring spirit will be greatly missed by family and friends. Survivors include her daughter, Linda Weaver and husband Ron of Rogers; grandchildren, Ronda Robin (Mike) of FL, Carie Means (Sam) of Bentonville, Cristie Weaver of Little Rock, Joshua Weaver (Rachel) of Rogers, Donnette Simons (Randy) and Pamela Conrad; twenty-two great-grandchildren; eight great-great grandchildren; two brothers, Chester Daniel Marsh and Franklin Marsh; and many extended family members and friends who will also mourn her passing. Dorothy is preceded in death by her parents, Franklin and Gladys Marsh; her husband William Floyd Wilson; two sons, Floyd Don ''Donnie'' Wilson and William Carl ''Billy'' Wilson; grandson, Trevor Darty; and seven siblings. Funeral services for Dorothy will be 2:00 PM Thursday, January 11th, 2024 at Roller-Coffman Chapel in Marshall, Arkansas with Bro. Bryan Graham officiating. Burial will be in Harness Cemetery in Stone County, Arkansas where Dorothy will be laid to rest beside her husband, William. Bearers will be Josiah Means, Samuel Means, Bryce Weaver, Hayden Means, Adelina Means and Madison Weaver. Honorary bearers will be Layton Turner and Joshua Weaver.
