Floyd Don Wilson, 61, of Pleasant Grove, Arkansas died Tuesday, April 30, 2013 at a local hospital. He was born July 24, 1951 in Alco, Arkansas the son of William Floyd Wilson and Dorthy Evelyn Marsh Wilson. He was a state evangelist in several states and a state youth director. He also pastored several churches for 43 years. He loved to preach and share the Lord with others. He was a loving father, husband, and "papa". Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Theresa Ann Hawkins Wilson of Pleasant Grove; mother, Dorthy Wilson of Rogers; two daughters, Pam Childress of Cabot and Donnette Simons of Judsonia; brother, William Carl Wilson of Rogers; sister, Linda Weaver of Rogers; and nine grandchildren, Tyler Darty, Trevor Darty, Leighton Childress, Celeste Darty, Parker Childress, Elijah Childress, Lilli Childress, Tim Bellou and Tripp Childress. He was preceded in death by his father. Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m., Thursday at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with Gary Don Fletcher officiating. Burial will be at Marcella Cemetery by Roller-Crouch Funeral Home of Batesville Pallbearers are Tyler Darty, Trevor Darty, Leighton Childress, Tim Bellou, Robert House and Alvin House. Visitation will be at the church from 12:00 p.m., Thursday until the time of service at 1:30 p.m.
