Funeral services are being held this afternoon (Thursday) for a long time resident of the Arcadia vicinity, Robert Psota Sr., 78 who died in a rest home in Burwell Tuesday after an illness of several years. Services will be in charge of Rev. Allan W. Martin and are being held in the Hastings-Pearson Funeral Home chapel in Ord. Doris Perry acted as organist and Sharon Mason, soloist. The pallbearers, Ed Zikmund, Will Misko, Emil Fafeita, Emil Mathauser, Dr. F. L. Blessing and Pat Wray. Mr. Psota was born in Madison, Nebr. Oct. 14, 1882 to Joseph and Mary Dobrovsky Psota. He married Marie Vavra, March 28, 1910 at Weston. He had made his home in the Arcadia area since 1909, and had lived with a son, Raymond, north of Arcadia for the past several years. He entered the rest home Jan. 2. Survivors include three sons, Raymond of Arcadia, Joseph of Fremont and Robert Jr. of Lincoln; a daughter, Mrs. Bessie Swanek, Ord; two brothers, Joe of Ord and Anton of North Loup, and two sisters, Mrs. Emma Long and Mrs. Anna Urbanovsky, both of Ord, and two grandchildren.
