Vera Hullett Jones, age 94, of Alabaster, AL passed away on March 25, 2008 at her home. Mrs. Jones was preceded in death by her husband, F.L. Jones; a daughter, Reda Fay Jones; her parents, Waitus and Ethel Hullett and three brothers. She is survived by her daughter, Willoree (Jerry) Hurst; sisters, Jean Hullett of Trussville and Elvia (Mickey) Alexander of Pueblo, CO; brothers, Melvin (Betty) Hullett, Alvis (Grace) Hullett and Vertis Hullett all of Oneonta. Visitation will be Thursday, March 27, 2008 from 5 pm - 7 pm at Southern Heritage Funeral Home in Pelham. The funeral service will be Friday, March 28, 2008 at 1 pm in the Chapel of Southern Heritage Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Highland Memorial Cemetery in Bessemer, Alabama.
