Bio

Mr. Loren E. Moores, Sr. Graveside services for Mr. Loren E. Moores, Sr., 85, of North Augusta who entered into rest December 15, 2007 will be conducted Monday morning at 11 o'clock in Pineview Memorial Gardens with Veterans Honors. Rev. Jeremy Daley officiating. Mr. Moores for was a native of Illinois, having made North Augusta his home for the past 46 years. He was U.S. Army Veteran of WWII, a retired circulation manager at the Augusta Chronicle with over 40 years of service and was a Presbyterian. Mr. Moores was preceded in death by his wife Octavia C. Moores, a brother, Roy Moores and a sister Norma Craig. Survivors include his son Loren E. Moores, Jr., Bishop, GA; one brother, Don Moores, Dothan, Alabama; one sister, Juanita Kocurek, Corpus Christi, Texas. The family will receive friends at the Graveside following the service.
