Bio
Susan Elizabeth "Bettie" was the daughter of George W. Wilson and Elizabeth Darwin. On the 1880 census, Susan, age 10, born in Texas, is enumerated with her widowed mother and siblings in Dade Co., Missouri. *Her twin brother George apparently died young as he doesn't appear with the family on the census. Susan and George were probably born in or near Miller Grove, Hopkins Co., Texas. The family didn't stay many years in Missouri and were back in Texas by the early 1880's. Susan was married on July 23, 1887 in Wylie, Collin Co., Texas to Joseph C. Daniel. They were the parents of four children; Mable Clara, Bryan Joe, Ora Artailla "Artie," and Ralph Kenneth. In most of the early records of her husband's family, the surname was found as Daniel but over time it also appeared as Daniels. *Some family genealogy was generously shared by a descendant.
