Emil Joe Matlock, 64, of El Campo, passed away on April 25, 2015. He was born on October 23, 1950 in El Campo to the late Frank Sr. and Millie Orsak Matlock. He was a farm hand before retiring. He served in the United States Army for three years. He is survived by sister Joyce Hensley and husband Larry of El Campo; brothers Frank Matlock Jr. and wife Marie of Campo, Larry Matlock of El Campo, Jerry Matlock and wife Peggy of El Campo; and several nieces and a nephew. Emil was preceded in death by his parents. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, April 29, 2015, at 10 am at Oaklawn Memorial Park in El Campo with military honors under the auspices of the American Legion Post 251. Pallbearers are Frank Matlock Jr., Larry Matlock, Jerry Matlock, Larry Hensley, Patrick Matlock, and Erwin Matus. Triska Funeral Home, El Campo, 979-543-3681
