Sallie A. Jackson was born on 1 January 1859 in Illinois to Dempsey and Minerva Bryan Jackson. Sallie married William D. Wallace and had two children named Albert William (Babe) and John William Wallace. Both sons were born in Lamar County, Texas. It is unknown as to the date of William D. Wallace's death. Sallie Jackson Wallace married William Bell Sutton on 25 May 1884 in Lamar County, Texas. The couple had four children named Viola Octavia (Hattie), Emma Elizabeth, Daniel, and Dora Bell Sutton. Sallie A. Jackson Wallace Sutton died on 4 January 1918 in Lamar County, Texas from pneumonia. Her death certificate states she was buried in the Red Hill Cemetery, but no tombstone has been located.
