Bio

Windom Funeral services for Hallie Wilkins, 85, of Bonham will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, April 14, 1997, at the Cooper-Sorrells Chapel in Honey Grove. Nolian Butler will officiate. Burial will be in the Windom Cemetery. She passed away April 11, 1997 at Northeast Medical Center in Bonham. She was born January 6, 1912 in Terrell, the daughter of Amon Hilton and Olga Giles Hilton and married J. G. Wilkins November 24, 1936. The retired teacher of 36 years got her bachelors degree at East Texas State University. She was a member of the Eastern Star and Garland Garden Club. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Judy and Glynn O'Shields of Burleson, TX; sister, Velma Hilton; brothers, Dennis Hilton, Sammie Hilton; a granddaughter and two great-granddaughters. The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 1:30 p.m. Monday.
