Inez Faye Pate, 84, of Windom, died Sunday evening, November 14, 1993 at Wilson N. Jones Hospital in Sherman. Funeral services for Mrs. Pate were held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 16, 1993 at the Windom Baptist Church. Rev. Rodney Stanford and Rev. Tim Clayton conducted the services. Burial was made in the Windom Cemetery with Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home of Honey Grove in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers were David Towery, Tommy Oliver, B. J. Stallings, Billy Joe Roberts, Joe Bunch and John D. Nichols. Mrs. Pate was born April 12, 1909 in Nobility, a daughter of T. S. Doremus and Jo Frances Cowan. She married Dennis Allen Pate on September 12, 1925. He preceded her in death on December 18, 1987. She was a homemaker and a member of the Windom Baptist Church. She is survived by one daughter, Betty Belcher of Plano; four sons, Billy Pate and Dan Pate, both of Bonham, and Joe Pate and Mack Pate, both of Southmayd; sixteen grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren. ----------------------------------- Bonham Daily Favorite, Bonham, Texas, Wednesday, 17 Nov 1993 Page 2 - Windom Funeral services for Inez Faye Pate, age 84, were conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 16, at the First Baptist Church in Windom under the direction of Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home in Honey Grove. Services were conducted by Rodney Stanford and Tim Clayton. Burial followed at Windom Cemetery. Pate died on Sunday evening, Nov. 14, at Wilson N. Jones Hospital in Sherman. Pate was born on April 12, 1909, in Nobility, the daughter of T. S. Doremus and Jo Frances Cowan Doremus. She married Dennis Allen Pate on Sept 12, 1925 in Leonard. Mr. Pate preceded her in death on Dec. 18, 1987. She was a homemaker and member of the Windom Baptist Church. Survivors include one daughter, Betty Belcher of Plano; four sons, Billy and Dan Pate, both of Bonham, and Mack and Joe Pate, both from Southmayd; sixteen grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
