Windom Rites Saturday For Mrs. Doremus Honey Grove Funeral services for Mrs. Joe Frances Doremus, 84, whose death occurred Thursday morning, June 8, 1972 in a Honey Grove nursing home following a four month illness, will be held Saturday afternnon, 2 o'clock, at the Baptist Church in Windom. Officiating at the services will be the Rev. Raymond Smoot and burial will be in the Windom Cemetery under the direction of Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be grandsons. Mrs. Doremus was born May 17, 1888 in Leonard, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Cowan. She was married in December of 1907 to P. S. Doremus. She is survived by one son, W. A. Doremus of Kilgore; one daughter, Mrs. B. A. Pate of Windom; three sisters, Mrs. Rosa Lea of Leonard, Mrs. W. M. Daniels of Wolfe City and Mrs. Myrtle Duncan of Dallas; six grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She was a member of the Windom Baptist church. The familly will be at the funeral home in Honey Grove Friday night from 7 to 8:30 o'clock.
