From the Daily Nonpareil, 10/09/2005: A. Jean Dittmer A. Jean Dittmer, age 78, of Shelby, died Friday, October 7, 2005 at Creighton University Medical Center, Omaha, NE. Survivors include her husband, Lawrence of Shelby; sons, David and wife Leora of Minden, Tim and wife Tracy of Neosho, Missouri; daughter, Joan and husband Myron of Sioux City; 14 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Visitation Sunday, October 9, from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M. at the Shelby Methodist Church in Shelby. Funeral Services Monday, October 10, 1:30 P.M. at the Shelby Methodist Church in Shelby.
