Bio

Social Security records identify parents as Sam J. Fritter and Carrie Odem. He served with the U.S. Army during World War II, Anti-artillery Aircraft Div. 432nd Battalion in the European Theatre in England, Africa, and Italy. He was the owner and manager of the Corpus Christi Church Goods Company for 34 years and in farming and ranching for 41 years. He married Lillian Henrietta Bohac in 1947 at SS. Cyril & Methodius Church in Granger, Texas. They had one daughter. Joe was also survived by a sister, Sister Mary Caroline, Incarnate Word convent, Corpus Christi, Texas.
