Page 106 of the Early Texas Birth Records 1838-1878, Volume II indicates Sarah's middle name is "Ann" and that she was born in Nueces County, Texas, including her following siblings: Edward R. (2/20/1857), Rosa (12/26/1860), John Antonio (4/2/1862), Antonita (9/3/1863), Stephen (4/8/1865), Eliza (5/17/1866), Alice (4/2/1868), Richard (4/7/1870), Alfred (2/20/1872), and Henry Nixon (1/7/1874). Sarah and these siblings appear to have been born in the town of San Diego (based on the 1860 U.S. Census) which in the 1860's was located in Nueces County but is now located in both Duval and Jim Wells Counties.
