Ola Ree Coggins, age 91,of Covington, passed away Tuesday, November 24, 2015. She was born on February 9, 1925, to the late Grover and Julia Ree Thompson Ellington. Ms. Coggins is preceded in death by her husband of 71 yrs, James Coggins, Jr. and her son James (Jimmy) Coggins, III. Ola was a member of the Grace Baptist Church, Ladies of Grace and The Young at Heart. She enjoyed gardening, canning, cooking and loved her family, friends, and church. Ola is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Sherry and Carson Tyler of Conyers, 4 grandchildren, Kristy Lindsey, Jamie Coggins, Samantha Odum, and Cale Coggins, 12 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-granddaughter, and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Friday, November 27, 2015 at Wheeler Funeral Home. Ms. Coggins will lie in state from 1:30 until service time at Grace Baptist Church where services will be held, Saturday, November 28, 2015 with Rev.
