Born September 6, 1887, Hillsdale, Garfield County, Utah, to George Joseph and Lydia Marion Pinney Goulding. Married Gladys Young October 26, 1911, in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple. Graduate of C.S.U. Retired Civic Service employee; served 3 LDS missions; High Priest; 1st Counselor in Bishopric, Widtsoe, Utah; school teacher and principal in Henderson, Utah. Survivors: wife, daughters: Mrs. E. R. (Maida) Walton; Mrs. Everett (Erna) Murphy, both Fillmore; Mrs. James (June) Bird, Mrs. Ray (Dawn) Atkin; Mrs. Delbert (Maxine) Adamson; all Murray; Mrs. Pete (Iris) Thallis, San Bernardino, California, 14 grandchildren; 47 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; sisters and brothers: Mrs. Rosa Peterson, Gloran, both Salt Lake CIty, Mrs. Cora Munson, Murray; Mrs. Jessie Nelson, Mrs. Irene Sandin, both California; Vernal, Phoenix, Arizona. Funeral Thursday 1 p.m., Murray 21st Ward Chapel, 5750 Nena Way. Friends may call Wednesday 7-9 p.m., 4760 South State Street, and Thursday 1 hour prior to services at the church.
