Obituary of James August "Jim " Goehring, Jr.: August 31, 1944 ~ October 16, 2007 James August "Jim" Goehring, Jr., 63 of Livermore, California passed away October 16, 2007 in Livermore. Graveside services are set for 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 24, 2007 in the Angleton Cemetery in Angleton,TX. Visitation will be Wednesday from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Palms Funeral Home. Jim was born August 31, 1944 in the Dow Hospital in Freeport, Texas to J.A " August " Goehring, Sr & Daisy Bolin Goehring. He graduated from Angleton High School and Lamar University with a BS in Chemistry. An avid golfer he loved hunting & motorcycles & was a cross country rider. His parents preceded him in death. Survivors include his wife; Barbara McNair Goehring of Livermore, (mdp) Ca Sons; Bryan James Goehring of Oregon & Stuart Bolin Goehring of California Sister; Juanita Goehring Baker of Angleton & 2 Grandsons; Patrick & Tyler. He is also survived by numerous extended family & friends.
