BURNEYVILLE -- Services for Ruby R. Miller, 83, Wilson, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Turner High School auditorium, Burneyville, with the Rev. John Sconce officiating. Interment will follow at Leon Cemetery. Mrs. Miller died Feb. 18, 1997, in a Marietta health care facility. She was born Oct. 3, 1913, in Montague County, Texas, to James "Jim" and Lola M. Martin Reed. She was a homemaker and had lived in Wilson since 1974. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Lee Hartless, in 1943; her second husband, Andrew L. Miller, in 1975; nine brothers, Lester, Frank, Andy, Elmer, Alfred, Hershel, Arthur, Artie and Burl Reed; and two sisters, Hettie Reed and Virgie Donaghe. Survivors include two sons, Joe Hartless, Marietta, and Herman Hartless, Emory, Texas; a daughter, Marie McBride, Lawton; two brothers, Auston Reed, Marietta, and Alvie Reed, Leon; a sister, Lillie Reed, Marietta; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Bearers will be Charles Campbell, P.A. Hartman, Frankie L. and Johnny Hall, Carl and Don Reed. Honorary bearers are Randy McMillin, Auston, Daryl and Raymond Reed. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 this evening at Kennedy Funeral Home, Marietta. Obit provided by "Raeanne Knox"
