Bio
Evelyn Payne, age 89 of Rockwall, TX, passed away Wednesday, February 25, 2015. She was born August 31, 1925 in Dallas, TX, to Ulpen Allen Beasley & Eula (Fausett) Beasley. Evelyn was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and had worked for the Texas Employment Commission as a placement counselor. She attended Casa Linda Methodist Church in Dallas. Evelyn is survived by her two sons: Allan Payne & wife Debbie and Barry Payne; grandchildren: Scott, Todd, Michael and Kaitlyn Payne; and nieces and nephews: Jerry Riddle, Janet Clay, Ronald Payne and Mark Payne. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband: James Clark Payne; and sister: Frances Riddle. A memorial service will be held 2:00pm, Saturday, February 28, 2015 at Rest Haven Funeral Home – Rockwall Chapel with Pastor Jerry Riddle, of Little Rock, AR, officiating.
