Pauline Griffin of Mount Pleasant, Texas passed away Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at 77 years of age. She was born February 23, 1938 in Titus County, Texas to Paul and Vada Riddle Lum Griffin. Pauline was a homemaker and a member of Grace Temple Missionary Baptist Church. She is survived by her 5 sisters, Ernestine Hess of Mount Pleasant, Texas, Darlene Maloy and her husband Bill of Texarkana, Texas, JoAnn Ellis and her husband Tom of Cookville, Texas, Janice Hargrove and her husband Burks of Gilmer, Texas, and Mary Jane Scarborough of Mesa, Arizona; 2 brothers, Henry Griffin of Freeport, Texas and Wallace Griffin and his wife Sandra of Mount Pleasant, Texas; special niece, Vonda Peacock of Mount Pleasant, Texas; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, and a brother, Kenneth Paul Griffin. Graveside services will be held 2:00 PM Friday, March 13, 2015 at the Coopers Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 PM Thursday evening at the funeral home.
