REED, GOLDIA DENSMORE, born July 27, 1910, passed away at her home after an extended illness, on January 18, 2005. She is preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, O.W. Reed, a long-time Dallas housemover and by a son, Donald Reed. Mrs. Reed is survived by her loving son, Herbert Edward Reed and wife Dolores; daughter-in-law, Billie Reed; grandchildren, Dana Savering, Debbie Bowling, Becky Pohlen, Tim Reed, and Steve Reed; 13 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren. Goldia was the oldest of nine children and is also survived by four sisters, one brother, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was a faithful member of First Christian Church of Seagoville. Funeral services are 2:00 PM, Saturday, January 22, 2005 at Jaynes Memorial Chapel. Mrs. Reed will lie in state during the day on Friday. Visitation with the family is 12:30 PM, Saturday, one & one-half hours before the service. The family extends thanks and appreciation to her caregivers.
