Grand Island (Nebraska) Daily Indepent November 1986 Max E. Thesenvitz, 76, of Inola, Okla., formerly of Grand Island died Thursday, Nov. 6 at Inola. Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday in the Livingston-Sondermann Chapel. The Rev. George Wheat will officiate. Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery... Mr. Thesenvitz was born Nov. 19, 1910, at Grand Island to Ernest and Maggie Rohweder Thesenvitz. He grew up and was educated in Alda. After his schooling he worded for Agricultural Services and at the Cornhusker Army Ammunition Plant in Grand Island. He moved to Inola, Okla., in 1980. He served in the Navy during World War II. He was a member of the Methodist faith. Survivors include one son, Larrie J., of Inola, Okla.; two grandchildren and two brothers, Paul of Wood River and Raymond of Grand Island.
