Bobby Gene Lichnovsky, 67, of West, passed away Sunday, May 14, 2006, evening in a Waco nursing home. Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday at Bold Springs Cemetery near West with the Rev. Ann Hitt officiating. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Kotch Funeral Home in West. Bobby Gene was born in West, Texas, to the late John and Sophie (Sulak) Lichnovsky, and had lived in the West area most of his life. He attended the Alligator School in West and West High School, and then joined the U.S. Air Force and was stationed in Greenland. He was employed with the City of Waco in Maintenance for several years. Bobby was preceded in death by a brother, Ernest Lichnovsky; and sister, Lillie Owens. Survivors include brothers, Albin Lichnovsky, of Waco, Billy Lichnovsky and wife, Erika, of China Spring and George Lichnovsky and wife, Faye, of Sherman, Texas; several nieces and nephews; and many other family members and friends.
