Bio

"Funeral services for Carolyne Beatty, 69, of rural Hancock were held at 1:30 pm Monday at the Hancock United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Floyd Cripps officiating. Burial was in the Hancock Cemetary. Mrs. Beatty died Friday at her home. A native of Henderson, Nebraska, she had lived in the Hancock area since 1942 and had retired from the Oakland School System where she was employed as a registered nurse. She was a member of the United Methodist Women, Hancock Federated Women's Club, worked with the Red Cross, and was a school nurse in the Oakland school for 25 years."
