Herald Coaster, November 26, 1984: Funeral services for William W. Jakubik, 71, of Rosenberg, are scheduled for 10 a.m. Tuesday at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Rosenberg, with burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park. A rosary will be recited Monday at 7 p.m. at the Davis-Dawson Funeral Home in Rosenberg with Msgr. Robert Barzyuk officiating. Jakubik, a retired farmer and member of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, died late Saturday at Memorial Southwest Hospital in Houston following a lengthy illness. Survivors include his wife, Janie Jakubik of Rosenberg; two sons, Walter of Thompsons and Thomas P. Jakubik of Freeport; four sisters, Vlasta Barnett of Fresno, Frances Gubbels of Rosenberg, Delphine Kitzmiller of Bryan, and Lillian Renfro of Lufkin; and three grandchildren. Friends may call at the Davis-Dawson Funeral Home in Rosenberg after 3 p.m. Monday.
