Herald Coaster, March 30, 1999: Funeral services for Casper W. "C.W." West, Jr., 54, of Rosenberg, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 31, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Rosenberg, with interment following at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Rosenberg. Father Dan Warden will officiate the services. Visitation will be held until 9 p.m. Tuesday, March 30, at Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home, 3900 B.F. Terry Boulevard, FM 2218 and Highway 59 in Rosenberg. Deacon David Mitchell will conduct a rosary service at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home in Rosenberg. C.W. Was born Dec. 24, 1944 in Yoakum to Casper W. "Woody" West, Sr. and Rose Margaret Sassin West, and he passed away March 29, 1999 in Richmond. He was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church and the KJZT. He was preceded in death by his parents, Casper W. "Woody" and Rose West. He is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Mary Ann Valicek West of Rosenberg; a daughter, Stephanie Green and her husband, Howard, of Plano; grandchildren, Melody, Lance, and Nicola Green of Plano; his sisters, Rose Hartman and her husband, Chris, of Alvin, and Barbara Vogt and her husband, Victor, of Richmond. Pallbearers are Michael Macha, Mark Macha, Arthur Van Slyke, David Trevino, Charles Sprayberry, Butch Eben, Ben Reynolds, and Bobby Worthy. Honorary pallbearers are Donnie Macha, Pat Zapalac, Chad Fontenot, and Mark Hartman. For those wishing, memorial contributions may be made to Holy Rosary Catholic Church "Keep the Vision Alive" Fund, 1416 George Street, Rosenberg, Texas 77471; the Rosenberg Railroad Museum, P.O.
