Bio

Betty R. Enfinger Moore was born on May 13, 1936 in Foley, AL to Ira and Evelyn Thomley. She passed away on August 4, 2021 in Molino, FL. Betty was a lifelong member of Pilgrim Rest, where she enjoyed singing, playing the piano, and preaching. She also loved spending time outdoors, camping, and going on cruises to visit various places around the world. Betty drove a school bus for Escambia County and retired after over 30 years of service. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Berdell Enfinger and Clyde Moore; parents, Ira Carmel Thomley and Evelyn Frost Thomley; brother, I. J. Thomley; sister, Johnnie Creighton; and stepson, Donald Moore. Betty is survived by her three daughters, Maralyn (Alvin) Kolb, Genevieve (David and Pip) Edmonson, and Sheila (Lonnie) Walls; son, Harvey (Renee) Enfinger; stepson, Craig Moore; stepdaughter, Deborah Payne; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great, great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at Molino Church of God on Monday, August 9, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastors Robby Kolb and Mike White officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the church. Burial will follow at Pilgrim Rest Cemetery.
