Bio
Ellenora Marburger Heidrich, 89, of Bay City passed away February 7, 2015. She was born December 23, 1925 in Hallettsville, TX to the late Otto Marburger and Ella Kelcke Marburger. She was a woman who loved her family unconditionally. She was an inspiration to so many, a hero to us all. She was kind, generous and always put others above herself. She was a life member of Fraternal Order of Eagles and the VFW Post 2438 Ladies Auxiliary and was always willing to lend a helping hand. Her husband Werner Heidrich and one son Daniel Heidrich preceded her in death. Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law Mabel & Donald Miller, Carolyn & Galon Mills, Alice & Gary Davis, Lenora & Clark Mowdy and Sharon & Ronnie Bratton; sons Samuel Heidrich, Werner Heidrich, Jr., Michael Heidrich; daughter-in-law Judith Heidrich; 19 grandchildren, 39 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren. The family will receive friends and relatives from 5pm until 7pm Monday at the funeral home. Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at St. Peter Lutheran Church with Rev. Jarred Stillions officiating. Interment will follow at Cedarvale Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Wayne Davis, Robert Davis, Butch Mills, Charlie Mills, Bubba Miller, Chris Heidrich, Ronnie Bratton, Eric Heidrich, Brent Heidrich and Jay Mowdy. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Houston Hospice for your continuous care and support as well as her care-taker Juanita Gonzalez.
