Whitus, Margie Ruth GILMER -- Services for Margie Ruth Whitus, 85, of Gilmer, will be 1:30 p.m. Thursday, October 19, 2006, at Croley Funeral Home Chapel of Gilmer, with Brother Todd Kaunitz officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Cemetery of Mineola. Mrs. Whitus died October 16, 2006, in Gilmer. Born July 4, 1921, in Golden, she was a homemaker and member of First Baptist Church. Survivors include her daughters, Ann McTee and Jeane Ray; brother, Malcolm Brown; and sister, Peggy Connor. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
