Bio

Thelma Lois Atkins of Lubbock passed away on Friday, January 16, 2015 at the age of 101. She was born on March 25, 1913 in Liberty County, Texas to Samuel and Clara Maude (Wood) Isaacks. She married Buell John Atkins on January 27, 1953. They were married until his death on December 26, 1955. Those left to cherish her memory are her one daughter, Dorothy Floyd of Lubbock; son-in-law, Charles Floyd; two grandsons, John Huckabey and wife Cherie and Justin Huckabey; and two great-grandchildren, Heather and Hunter Huckabey. Lois was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and ten brothers and sisters. Memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Lubbock.
