Bio

Dorothy Eloise Vester, 75, left us to be with her Lord and Savior January 25, 2015. She was a homemaker and an active member of the Valley View Baptist Church. Eloise was born January 11, 1940, in Upshur County to Leo and Opal Adams. She attended New Diana High School where she became acquainted with her future husband, Donald Walker. They were married September 17, 1956 in Idabelle, OK. Then after 19 years and the loss of her husband, she was married again to William Vester February 4, 1975 in Oklahoma. She enjoyed spending time visiting with family. She also enjoyed reading. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Ms. Vester was preceded in death by her parents, Leo Adams and Opal Whiddon; her husband Donald Walker; her brothers, Leo Adams Jr. and Crawford Adams; and a sister, Carolyn Maddox. She will be missed by her four sisters: Doris Janell Harvell of Whitchita Falls, TX, Shirley Sherrer of Paris, TX, Patricia Carley of Longview, TX, and Laura Whitehead of Marshall, TX. Three brothers: Albert Adams, of Anderson, TX, Larry Adams of White Oak, TX, and Leslie Adams, of LA. Her daughter: Donna Walker of Texarkana, TX ; her four sons: Kent Walker and wife Amy of Texarkana, TX, Scott Walker and wife Angela of Longview, TX, Billy Vester and wife Erica of Kennedale, TX ,and Jody Vester of Commerce, TX; 10 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild.
