Bio

Daughter of Stephen and Rhoda Coleman. Tabitha married John McCown, 9 February 1839, Lincoln Co., Tennessee. They had 12 children: Mary Ann, Sarah, Paulina Jane, James Coleman, William T., Hardy Josiah, Washington Fletcher, Yateman Goodrich, Elifus Russell, Malena, Elizabeth Y., and William Monroe McCown. She died after the 1880 Census, 24 June 1880, and before her estate was settled, 29 Aug 1884. She is probably buried near Mulberry, Lincoln Co., Tennessee, where she lived.
