Bio

The Narka News, Sept. 5, 1916 Helen Dorothy, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Godden, was born in Republic county, Kansas, March 30, 1916, and died Sept. 8, 1916, aged 5 months and 20 days. She was a sweet, pretty child, beloved by her parents, but death claimed her and her soul went home to God. The funeral was held at the Ida church at 11 o'clock Sunday, Sept. 10, being conducted by Rev. A. L. Kellogg, of Hubbell, and interment made in the Ida cemetery. The church was filled with friends and neighbors who came to show their sympathy for the grief stricken parents, the floral offerings were very beautiful and very appropriate music was rendered by the choir
