Bio

Son of Dean & Lillian (Belitz) Trosper. Married to Norma Hill on 3-6-1965 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church at Central City, NE. He joined the Grand Island, NE. Police Department on Aug. 1, 1966. He was promoted to Lieutenant in 1976 and Captain on Dec. 3, 1979. He retired from the Police Department in January of 2004. He also worked for Fonner Park Racetrack security for 18 years. He was recognized by the Grand Island City Council and received the Golden Apple Award from the Grand Island Public Schools for his involvement with the youth in the community. He coached little league baseball for 11 years and girls softball for 10 years.
