Mr. Bruce Eugene Milstead of San Augustine died Monday, January 19, 2015, in Lufkin, Texas. He was born March 7, 1962, in San Augustine to the late Herman and Glenda Ann (Pearson) Milstead. Mr. Milstead was currently serving as the San Augustine City Manager. He was a member of the Lions Club, Rotary Club, SA Main Street, former Angelina County and City Health District, softball coach, Deep East Texas Coon Hunters Assn., SA Thursday Night 42 Group, former J.P. and Municipal Court Judge for Zavalla, and Certified Public Manager for Huntington and Hudson. He is survived by his wife, Janice Milstead of San Augustine; daughter, Angela Cochran of Richmond, Va.; sons, Brandon and Colton Milstead, both of San Augustine; aunt, Martha Lindsey and husband Charles of San Augustine; and uncle, Tom Milstead and wife Reba of Nacogdoches. Funeral services will be held at the First Baptist Church in San Augustine. Visitation will be at Wyman Roberts Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Red Ridge Cemetery, San Augustine County, Texas.
